The New Speedway season launches into action this Saturday Night at Borderline Speedway with the Opening Night action on show that features Round 4 of the Eureka Garages & Sheds Sprintcar Series plus a full support program.

With 40 Sprintcars nominated at the time of print it promises to be a great night to kick off season 2019/2020 season on the Borderline clay way.

After a fantastic season in the States and with already a few A Main wins to his name this season James McFadden headlines an impressive list that has several former SRA champions as well as some of the hottest young talents in the country. Reigning World Series champion & local favourite Steven Lines is in the mix along with fellow Mt Gambier resident Glen Sutherland who will again contest this seasons World Series Sprintcars Championship with new crew chief Matt Griffiths. Second generation driver Scott Enderl will also be in action having already having a few shows under his belt this season running up in Darwin as well as a couple shows at Murray Bridge.  2018 Classic champ Corey McCullagh is entered in the immaculate Dickson Motorsport #3 entry, standouts from last season Charles Hunter, Bobby Daly will also be keen to get their SRA seasons back on track after a rough round a few weeks ago in Warrnambool. Brock Hallett will be back this Saturday after almost claiming a top 3 spot at the Jackpot event at Avalon a fortnight ago he will be looking to have some better luck on Saturday and will be one to watch. Young guns from Tasmania Tate Frost and Jock Goodyer are also entered with the latter contesting his rookie season on World Series Sprintcars starting on Boxing Day at Murray Bridge. While Lachie McHugh from QLD will be back in the #23 machine after racing in Perth last weekend. Brett Milburn, Mike Van Bremen, Brayden Parr,  John Vogels, Jye O’Keeffe, Jordyn Charge, Terry Rankin, Jake Tranter will all be out for vital championship points while Marcus Dumesny will be a welcome addition this weekend and will be looking to continue his good form after a top 5 finish last weekend in Sydney.

Several cars from Adelaide will make the trek down South including Lisa Walker, Aidan Hall and Daniel Pestka who has been on the pace so far this season.

The Junior Sedans, Limited Sportsman and Classic Sedans will round out a very busy program this Saturday Night at Borderline. The Micallef brothers will be out to continue their good start to the season in the Juniors. The Junior Sedans are the stars of the future and provide excellent racing.
