Improvements implemented before huge season

The Borderline Speedway club has been going through some major improvements to the venue over the off season.
The 372m track has a new surface. The old surface has been taken out and reused on the extension of spectator areas. Around 2000 meters of clay has been trucked in, this being the most needed for over 10 years.

The back straight and turn 3 spectator areas have now been reworked, angle taken out and extended. The turn 3 bar area has been improved as well with a new bar and a large stepped area for viewing of the action

A ramp has been built on the back of turn 3 for the traveling big screen for World Series Sprintcars and the 2018 Australian Sprintcar Championship. Steel frame work has been erected for another 9 new corporate boxes in turn 1 as well as new fencing on the exterior of the venue soon to be built.

It has been a very busy time for all involved. We would like to thank all the volunteers and businesses who have worked very hard on the improvements.

Our new online ticket system is almost nearing operation and once operational it will be announced.

Our first race meeting for season 2017/18 is on Saturday November 25. SRA Sprintcar series Rd 4, Formula 500 SA Title Re-run and supports.
