This Thursday night Mt Gambier’s Borderline Speedway roars into life with the biggest show of the season – the 2021 Kings Sprintcar Challenge.
The meeting promises to be a great night of racing in the traditional lead up to the Warrnambool Classic Weekend or in this year’s case Fifty For 50.
 
With a season high 35 nominations for any SA track this summer some of the country’s best will converge on Borderline in what is also Round 2 of the Speedway Australia Sprintcar Super Series.
Leading the charge is current World Series Champ James McFadden who took out the 360 Allstars Challenge last weekend at Simpson, Queensland’s Lachie McHugh who has taken out 10 A Mains win this summer, Last weekend’s feature winner at Toowoomba and Australia #2 Marcus Dumesny, 2019 Classic Winner Robbie Farr, 2018 Classic Winner Corey McCullagh, Speedweek Round 2 winner David Murcott, Grant Anderson, Matt Egel, Daniel Pestka, Brock Hallett, Brad Keller, Ryan Jones, Lisa Walker, Ben Morris, Tasmanian duo Jock Goodyer and Tate Frost while Victoria is well represented with Jye O’Keeffe, Bobby Daly, Grant Stansfield, Peter Doukas, David Donegan, Andrew Hughes just to name a few. NSW is represented by the forementioned Dumesny, Jessie Attard and Deniliquin’s Eddie Lumbar.
Mount Gambier’s local drivers in Glen Sutherland and Scott Enderl will lead the South East charge with Enderl showing strong speed in particularly last weekend at Mildura while Sutherland will be looking for a great run-in front of his local supporters.
 
The event will be supported by Junior Sedans and Classic Super Modifieds.
Tickets Are Available Online Until 12pm on Thursday.
 
Gates Open at 4pm. Engine Starts/Qualifying from 5:00pm
